Students unveil their imaginative ideas for Nigg Bay Expansion

Students from Robert Gordon University have unveiled images of buildings they imagine gracing our potential expansion development at Nigg Bay. As part of the their course, students Robert Lucas and Scott Crighton produced designs for a new Marine Operations Centre and Ferry Terminal within the new harbour and these images will go on show as part of the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture end of year show.

Colin Parker, Chief Executive of Aberdeen Harbour commented, “Although we have no plans to build a second Marine Operations Centre or a ferry terminal, should our proposed development go ahead, we are delighted that the expansion plans have captured the imagination of these talented students. We hope that the development will further inspire creative ideas throughout the city and shire”.
