Silver Cloud berths in Silver City
The largest cruise vessel to visit Aberdeen Harbour stopped in the city as part of the 2018 season.
At 157 metres long, and with capacity to hold more than 250 guests and 220 crew, expedition vessel Silver Cloud is the largest cruise ship to stop at Aberdeen's established city berth.
The 17,000 tonne ship, left Aberdeen Harbour accompanied by two tug boats as she continued on to her next stop in Hull.
The luxury Silversea vessel went through a refurbishment last year and has four restaurants, a pool deck, gym, beauty salon, spa, theatre and boutiques for guests to enjoy while aboard, and the luxury continued during her stop in Aberdeen, with visits arranged to Balmoral Castle and Royal Deeside.
Matt North, Commercial Director, Aberdeen Harbour Board, said: "We were delighted to welcome the Silver Cloud to the Silver City as part of our 2018 cruise season.
"Our established city berth continues to attract growing numbers of cruise vessels and we look forward to receiving more when our new South Harbour expansion opens in 2020."
